1. Hi Thibault, can you tell us a little about your background?

I was always passionate about new technology so it was easy for me too choose a technology degree when the time came. After that, I earned my bachelor’s in computer science. I eventually grew tired of developer work, so I turned to businesses specializing in iT so that my technical background could still be used.

2. How did you end up at Julie Desk?

I worked at companies providing digital services, where the commercial side was lacking, and where hiring developers wasn’t exactly fun, so I ended up moving over to the editing side of the software. I was specifically looking for a startup so that I could participate in the evolution of the company, which made it easy for Julie Desk’s founders to convince me. I mean, the project is solid, and so are the teams, who could ask for more?

3. Can you tell us about your role and describe a typical day at Julie Desk?

I am the primary contact for our french leads.
My role is to make sure they know what to expect from Julie. Once the client expresses concrete interest, I send them to Benjamin, our expert :).
My typical day: I grab a coffee, put on my headset and make calls. I go to the bathroom, then make more calls, I drink, make more calls, and so on.

4. What advice would you give to someone that would like to follow in your footsteps?

Behave unto others as you’d like them to behave unto you (Thanks Jesus for that one;))
Also, integrating a headset into your ear could actually be a good idea!

5. What’s the biggest challenge that you face or have faced at Julie Desk?

Finding a message that has an impact on our target audience. One learns by doing.

6. Where do you see Julie Desk in 5 years?

In our offices in Silicon Valley, and why not as an assistant as developed as in science-fiction films like “Her” to organize user’s daily activities.

7. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Still searching for a new adventure and still just as eager to learn. I hope I’ll be able to master hypnosis by then so I can be wiser. As for the rest, only the future can say 😉

8. Three words to describe?

Curious, open, adventurous

9. Something that people don’t know about you that you’d like to share?

You know enough about me for now, let’s talk about Julie, do you want to enhance your conversion rate?
